What do teachers do between terms?

God has been teaching us to continue to faithfully serve in all circumstances. During her break between school terms, Kathy was able to participate as part of a team to check the typeset New Testament before it is sent to Korea for final printing. Without speaking Lokep, she could still use her teacher’s eyes to catch formatting errors, punctuation mistakes and pagination issues. A team of 15 people were able to scan the entire Lokep New Testament in half a day! It is a rare treat as a teacher to be so directly involved in the process of Bible translation, and a blessing to be a small part of the Lokep people receiving God’s Word in their heart language. It is another example of ‘many hands making light work’, where serving together as a community involves many people pitching in to do their part.
